Decision Support Content
provides depth, addressing clinical conditions by gathering
additional structured data from the physician through a
question/answer process. This granular information goes
beyond the level of a clinical indication and allows for
more accurate advice.

Medicalis Clinical Content
provides in context detailed, actionable advice,
including specific suggested alternative procedures with
estimated radiation dose. Going beyond generic, modality based suggestions.

The Medicalis content encoding
process, combining clinical guidelines and user feedback is
unique in the industry. Medicalis is an expert at analyzing
and encoding clinical guidelines for diagnostic imaging.
Encoded guidelines can be applied efficiently at the point
of care, and delivered to physicians through their EMR or
CPOE using Medicalis Decision Assist, powered by Medicalis Decision Support Server. Medicalis
aggregates clinical guidelines from many sources, and adds
new sources as they become available. This means Medicalis
Clinical Content can be rolled out globally. Medicalis
Content uses CPT4, ICD9, SNOMED, and IMO coding to maximize
compatibility.

Medicalis authors and maintains
an evidence based Universal Standard of Care for content. This is the
set of global clinical content that Medicalis believes
provides the most effective and ubiquitous guidance.
Medicalis can also create evidence based Local Standards of Care.
This content is created through collaboration with local
thought leaders. A Local Standard of Care applies to a
particular customer or region, and so it augments the
Universal Standard of Care.
