Ron Kelly is the President
and CEO of Medicalis. Ron has been a board member of Medicalis
since November of 2000.
Ron has been involved in the U.S.
healthcare industry for over 8 years, focusing on rapidly
growing companies, raising financing in the venture and
capital markets, building and integrating companies, and
conducting mergers and acquisitions. His impressive track
record provides the insight and leadership needed to support
Medicalis rapid growth objectives. Prior to joining
Medicalis, Ron served in the position of Executive Vice-President
of Mergers and Acquisitions with Mitra Imaging Inc. of Waterloo,
Ontario for several years. With Mitras acquisition
by Agfa-Gevaert, Ron became the Interim CEO of the Healthcare
Informatics Division. Mitra is a market leader in the development
of medical information and technology for hospitals and
their integration into the healthcare enterprise. Previous
to his association with Mitra, Ron was the CEO of a leading
e-business software provider in the eye-care industry.
Ron is a graduate of Dalhousie
University, Nova Scotia, with a combined Masters of Business
Administration and Law degrees. Ron also holds an honors
undergraduate degree in Finance and Management from the
Memorial University of Newfoundland.
Mike Fisher joined
Medicalis in the position of Executive Vice-President of
Business Development. Before joining the Medicalis team,
Mike served with Mitra Imaging Inc. of Waterloo, Ontario.
His vast spectrum of experience encompassed Business Development,
Market Strategy, and Product Management. Mike has been involved
in the healthcare IT industry with Mitra for over 7 years,
and cooperated with a large worldwide base of hospitals
and Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) clients. His
responsibilities included building customer-focused product
marketing requirements and strategies. Mike concentrated
on image management and clinical viewing applications, and
on integration of modalities, PACS, and RIS into the enterprise.
Mike is a graduate of Queens
University, Ontario where he earned a Master of Science
in Human Factors.
Peter Kastelic joined
Medicalis in February 2008 as Chief Financial Officer. Peter
has over ten years of executive financial and operational
experience as a senior member of medical device and medical
service management teams. Most recently Peter served as
CFO of Excel -Tech Ltd. (TSX symbol:NRV) a manufacturer
and distributor of Neuro-Diagnostic medical devices which
was sold to Natus Medical (NASD Symbol:BABY) in November
2007. Peter spent three years with Agfa Healthcare Informatics
(formerly Mitra Imaging Inc.) as CFO and Managing Director
in Waterloo, Ontario Canada. He participated in the development
and execution of the business strategy for the $350 million
revenue Global Healthcare Informatics business unit. Peter
had been the CFO of Mitra Imaging Inc., a high growth technology
where he was responsible for finance and participated in
the negotiations leading to the sale of the company in January
of 2002. From 1997 to 2001 Peter was CFO of TLC Laser Vision
Centers (TSX and NASDAQ listed) where revenues grew from
$20 million to $200 million during the three years of his
tenure. Peter also held senior roles in finance with Potash
Company of Canada, EFOS Corp. and Curragh Inc.
Peter is a Chartered Accountant
and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University
of Toronto.

Jim Stirtzinger is
Medicalis’ Chief Operating Officer. He has been involved
in the software development industry for over 10 years, specifically
guiding the strategic management of people, operational
processes and productivity tools. His experience and aptitude
provides the necessary focus and leadership of the resources
and capabilities of the Medicalis team in order to meet
the company’s aggressive growth objectives. Prior
to joining Medicalis, Jim served in the position of Vice-President
Organizational Productivity with Mitra Imaging Inc. Previous
to his association with Mitra, Jim held leadership positions
in the areas of organizational development, business process
improvement and acquisition integration within the Collaborative
Knowledge Management and Robotic Machine industries. (Both
publicly traded and privately owned organizations.)
Jim is a graduate from the Advanced
Program in Human Resources Management at the Rotman Business
School at the University of Toronto as well as the Sales
and Marketing business program at Niagara College. He has
also completed the Management Development program at GE’s
John F. Welch Leadership Center in Crotonville.
John Delong is Vice President
of Clinical Content & Product Management at Medicalis Corporation. He has been involved
in the medical software industry for almost fifteen years. His focus on technology strategy and product marketing has
led to successful product launches in competitive technology
environments. Prior to joining Medicalis, John held various sales, marketing and general manager positions
with Mitra Imaging in Waterloo, a leading radiology integration and solutions provider
for OEMs on a worldwide basis. While at Mitra John was responsible for taking Mitra from Waterloo to Europe, Asia and Australia, by establishing corporate
sales and support offices in Holland, Denmark and Australia.
John is a graduate of Guelph University, Ontario where he earned a Bachelor of Science.
He is also a graduate from Wilfrid Laurier University, where he earned
a Diploma in Business Administration. After
Completing his degree Science degree John graduated
from Mohawk College with a diploma in Health Radiation
Sciences. John is also a
Certified Professional in Healthcare Information
and Management Systems (CPHIMS).
